IKEA

Yesterday, I went to IKEA with my girls. I needed to get myself a study table and a chair for my room. Even though the University apartment provides study table and chair, I'm just not comfortable studying at that study area. It's freaking hot because there's no ceiling fan there and plus, my roomates like to watch TV. To say that I don't mind, that would be a lie. How can you study when you don't have a proper environment?

My girls!

At first, I was planning to buy a lil table and a lil chair, but in the end... I bought proper size table and chair instead. I figured I need a good posture and tools to study properly =P

My new study table and chair =)

I assembled all of 'em at 1 something in the morning! Takde keje. Luckily, my friend has a screwdriver. It was so nice of him to sent it right away in the middle of the night LOL.

I also added a few items here and there for my room. The one that I love the most is this tie rack hanger... but I am using it as scarfs hanger!

Isn't it fabulous? I got two of 'em!

We also had some meeteeballs! Nyummy Nyummy! Now, I know why people are so addicted to 'em. Seriously, there is no way for a table NOT to have meatballs! IKEA really has some good food!

After we left IKEA, Kak Nana sent me straight to UNITEN. There was a club bazaar and I went to check 'em out with a friend. I already know which club to join!

Then, after I came back, there was a fire drill exercise. Gawd...they were so terrible. They punished us at 11:30pm till 12 AM! Goodness!

Actually, I wanted to blog more, but I'm running out of time. There are so many things that happened to me lately. One of it is that....I'm crushed...crushed oh so badly!

'Nuff said!

Triple Fun

I went shopping and did other fun things with my cousins yesterday and on Friday at Penang! Yes, I went back on Friday, but now I'm back in KL.

It was so much fun to hang out with all of them at the same time. I love my girls so much. I'm so lucky that I have a very close relationship with them. We always have so much laugthers and fun together!

Did you know that we bought the same pants and same colored shirts? Crazy right? That just shows how close we are and how much we have in common!

First thing we did...take pictures with webcam!

Then, we went shopping! Kak Nana and I got the same pair of jeans from Levi's, but different size! Kak Tas and her brothers were at the mall as well, but we split cause she had to buy other things.

At night all of us were craving for Penang's best Char Koew Teow? ever!
Deliciouuusssss!

This was on Saturday and at my Grandma's house. My Maksu B makes the best Thai Som Thum ever! Kak Tas and her siblings didn't get to join us cause she went back to her other kampung.

Sharing dark chocolate pepeppermint ice blended from Coffee Bean with Alin. Nyummy Nyummy!

Overall, this was the best trip of going back to Penang! I truely enjoy my short getaway from Uniten!

So long Penang! See you on Christmas break!
(I love this picture so much cause I look oh-so-guilty lol)

1 Question 1 Statement

When I introduced myself to new friends with a lil conversations here and there, majority of them will ask me one question and say one statement. I am not lying about this guys. I get the same thing all the time!

The question is:
"Are you mix?"

My answer to the question is usually like this;
"Umm umm...I guess so. My great grandma was Chinese and her genes are VERY VERY STRONG. My Dad doesn't look like a Malay...at all. So umm yeah? I guess I can say that I'm mix with a lil bit of Chinese."

And the reply from them;
"Oh yeah...I can see that!"

*ehem* Mini portrait

Once the question is answered, they'll state:
"Wahh...you're English is really good."

My answer:
"Umm umm...I used to live in US. So, I guess that's why the way I speak is different. But no, my English is not that good."

That is the truth people. If you have been reading my blog, you know that my English is like... for first grade level. I'm no good in writing. I wish I'm good at both writing and speaking. But yeah.

Actually, I don't want people to know about this whole US thing. I guess I prefer telling them the truth rather than having them thinking that I have fake slangs. Besides, I don't really like those fakers anyway. And of course, I wouldn't want to be known as one of them!

Oh puh-lease! I ain't no fakers ya'll! *snaps fingers and shakes head from right to left*
